A phone number and a website that put you in touch with a Florida-licensed mold assessor or remediator in your part of Miami-Dade, in English or Spanish, and tell you the rules before anyone arrives.
What we are
Miami Mold Rescue is a referral line. When you call the number on this site or send the request form, we pass your information to an independent, Florida-licensed mold assessor or remediator who serves your area, and they contact you to set the visit. From that point on you deal with them directly.
We built it because mold is the home-repair category with the widest gap between what the law requires and what people are sold. Florida licenses the work, splits it between two trades, and sets a 10 square foot threshold below which you can handle it yourself. Most people calling for help do not know any of that, and some of the companies answering the phone would rather they did not. The pages here exist to close that gap before you spend money.
What we are not
We are not a mold remediation company, an assessment company, or a laboratory, and we do not employ inspectors or technicians. We do not perform or supervise work, set or quote prices, collect payment, or provide a warranty. We are not insurance adjusters, public adjusters, attorneys, or medical professionals, and nothing on this site is insurance, legal, or medical advice. The licensed professional is responsible for their license, insurance, workmanship, and pricing. If something goes wrong with a job, the professional is who you call, and the Florida DBPR is who you complain to.
How the professionals are chosen
Assessors and remediators who take calls from this line hold the Florida license for their role (MRSA for assessment, MRSR for remediation), work in Miami-Dade, and serve Spanish-speaking households as well as English-speaking ones. We do not verify licenses or insurance on your behalf; you should. Ask for the license number, check it on MyFloridaLicense.com, and confirm that the assessor and the remediator on your job are different companies, because Florida law requires it. Ask for proof of liability insurance before work begins.
